Experience the allure of the US Virgin Islands. Here, the trade winds blow, offering some of the best sailing in the world. Upon arrival, your crew will board a 40-foot-plus vessel with an experienced captain. Most units attain the 50 Miler Award as they circumnavigate the crystal blue waters surrounding the island of St. John. In addition to sailing, your unit will snorkel pristine coral reefs, hike in Virgin Islands National Park, swim ashore to incredible beaches, and more!

Payment
The total payment to Troop 247 for all Sea Base Crew participants is $2600, payable in two installments:
November 30, 2024 - $1300 (less any deposit already paid)
March 1, 2025 - $1300
Sea Base payments can be made to Troop 247 Treasurer Joel Ericson through the following methods, listed in order of preference:

Digital payment through Zelle to treasurer@troop247.us.
Check made payable to "Troop 247" and given to Joel Ericson or Curtis Smith.
Campership
Thanks to several generous contributors, a scholarship fund has been established for Sea Base programs. To apply for a campership, complete this form and submit with the requested materials. The campership will cover up to $500.00 towards your Sea Base Adventure. Award amounts vary based upon financial need. All applications must be submitted no later than November 1, 2024.
